Arcadia National Bar Portland, Maine, United States 5/5
Funspot Laconia, New Hampshire, United States 5/5
Propeller Brewing Company Halifax, Canada 5/5
Versus Boston, Massachusetts, United States 2/5 On the plus side: they have some golden age games. On the minus side: most have LCDs. I played Donkey Kong with glitching graphics on an LCD, and my goal was to clear the 3rd elevator. Mission accomplished, but man, I wish they'd care enough to find/invest in a capable arcade tech who could treat those machines with the respect they deserve.
Eighty Three Bar Arcade Saint John, Canada 5/5
Barcade (Jersey City, NJ) Jersey City, New Jersey, United States 5/5 Great selection of golden age games that are in good shape well maintained. Monitors were locked in and the controls were crisp.
Barcade (Philadelphia, PA) Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States 5/5 Great arcade with a ton of golden age games. Slither, Q*Bert, Mappy, Pooyan, Donkey Kong, Joust, Mr Do!, Missile Command, Millipede, Punch Out, Burger Time, Frogger, Asteroids, Discs of Tron, and a lot more. All of the games were in great shape, and the CRTs were locked in.
Roxy's Arcade Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States 3/5 They have a fair number of golden age games, but they all have LCDs. Automatic 2-star deduction. Those include Marble Madness, Mario Bros., Burgertime, Joust, Frogger, and a few others. Cool spot if you're into newer (post-CRT) 90s+ games.
