Trivia

This game was ported over to many home video game systems. The best one, and perhaps the most famous, is the 8Meg Genesis version, converted by Sega. US Gold now Eidos Interactive released a pseudosequel, called IStrider Returns,I which, unfortunately, doesnt live up to its name. IStriderI was long forgotten, up until 1997, when Hiryuu appeared as a playable character on IMarvel Vs. CapcomI. After his amazing comeback, Capcom decided in 1999 to make the true sequel to IStriderI, called IStrider 2I. IStrider 2I was released on the Sony PlayStation system in 2000, along with a playable version of IStriderI.

Before Capcom made the game Strider it was a manga book. The original story takes place 10 years before the game.
