Game Play

Similar to Space Invaders in that attack waves move back and forth across the screen, getting faster in successive waves. However, the graphics and storyline are more advanced.

The objective is to defend six cities from an unnamed enemy's attacks. The assaults consist of waves of planes, helicopters, night bombers, and MIRV bombs. Night missions are illuminated only by two spotlights, which the enemy can destroy.

Each wave is also a fight against the clock - fail to win in time and a MIRV bomb will be launched. Nearly everybody who has played this game seems to remember the cityscape backgrounds and the night missions.
