Vigilante

Description

Madonna has been kidnapped by The Skinheads. The law cannot stop them so you must do it. Fight enemies with your fists, feet and various weapons across five levels, each with their own end-of-level baddie.

Vigilante was produced by Irem in 1988.

Game Introduction

The Police cannot stop the street gangs ... As a Vigilante, you must defend your people's turf!!!

The Skinheads have taken Madonna hostage. Take the law into your own hands!

Game Play

There are five levels in all, each with an end-of-level baddie some of which return in later levels as mid-level bosses. You can only walk from left to right not into the level, up or down. Sometimes you can pick up some nunchucks to beat-up the enemies instead of using your fists and feet. Some the baddies carry weapons like knives, clubs and guns. The final boss is incredibly difficult to beat because he slowly gains energy if you do not hit him. After you defeat him, Madonna will be rescued and the game will end.
