This is a cartridge based system using the SETA ALECK 64 mother board. This mother board is similar to the Nintendo 64 home system PCB. There were only three (known) games made for this system: Vivid Dolls, Star Soldier - Vanishing Earth and Eleven Beat (soccer).
There are 15,264 members of the Video Arcade Preservation Society / Vintage Arcade Preservation Society, 9,669 whom participate in our arcade census project of games owned, wanted, or for sale. Census data currently includes 166,973 machines (7,000 unique titles).

Of these, One is a conversion in which game circuit boards (and possibly cabinet graphics) have been placed in (and on) another game cabinet. 2 of them are only circuit boards which a collector could put into a generic case if desired.
For Sale - There is one active VAPS member with an extra Star Soldier - Vanishing Earth circuit board for sale.
Wanted - No active members have added this machine to their wish list.
Rarity and Popularity independently are not necessarily indications of value. [More Information]
This unusual arcade game system is cartridge based and it incorporates very specialized controls. The mother board does not use any of the usual control inputs, except for coins one and two. It looks for two special control sets while it is booting. If they are not found, the game will not work.
The controls are a dual/convertable 8-way joystick and a digital-analog joystick. The optics are like those found on a 360 degree steering wheel so it could be considered a two-in-one joystick. The special joystick is a digital control where it combines the Up, Down, Left, Right, 1, 2, 3, 4 and Start input signals into a single data line that runs straight to the mother board. So all input signals go through the special joystick circuit board and then to the 3 position connector (blue and white) -- see picture.
There are only three known cartridges for this system:
DIP switch bank 1 switch 8 sets the joystick type. DIP switch bank 2 switch 8 enables self test mode.
