Kee Games was run by the same people that were running Atari and. Kee was apparently created as a work-around for some contractual constraints. Spike is Kee’s version of Atari’s Rebound game released the previous month. Spike added a ‘spike’ button so your bat could jump up and slam the ball into an opponent’s side.

Spike was produced by Kee Games in 1974.
