Fly a jetpacked-spaceman through continuously scrolling tunnels shooting various spacecraft and wall-mounted cannons. The sections are marked "A" to "Z" and there are end-of-level craft to destroy at E, J, O, T and Z.
The direction of scrolling changes after defeating each boss. Sections A through E scroll right to left, F through J scroll top to bottom, etc.
A spaceman faces either left or right shooting a laser gun horizontally and throwing grenades with each press of the fire button. Use the Turn button to face the other direction. When you die you go back to the start of the current section.
Destroying certain ground targets release B, S or P symbols that you collect for bonus, speed-up or weapon power-up respectively.

Other games that fall into this catergory are ISide Arms Hyper DyneI and IForgotten WorldsI.PThe NES home version of this game is very different in that it is not linear rather, you have to pick a direction and hopefully the right one at the end of each level to move on. The hero in the NES version is called Captain Commando.
The game can be converted to IGhosts n GoblinsI or ITrojanI by simply swapping boards.
