The game asks you questions and you press the corresponding button on your side of the screen to answer. Points are awarded for a correct answer with bonus points for being the quickest. Points are deducted for a wrong answer. Questions are multiple choice, chosen from a pool of 1000 questions in four categories: people, sports, movie and potpourri. Categories can be selected prior to game commencement.

There are four large (old atari-style) buttons on both sides of the screen used for answering the multiple choice questions. A button on the control panel is used for category selection. The sideart has a picture of Laurel and Hardy, plus Mickey Mouse, a biplane, Benjamin Franklin, etc. all merged around the heading 'Quiz Show'.

the game used a strange magnetic tape loading mechanism for the questions. Additional tapes could be purchased with alternate sets of questions. It is unclear whether this was an 8-track tape or a normal cassette. Questions were streamed off the tape directly to the screen.
