This is a fourplayer 3D fighting game with complete freedom of motion within multiple tiered arenas. Battle computer opponents, fight bosses and collect powerups to increase your fighters abilities.A sequel to Power Stone, developed for Sega Naomi hardware and dreamcast console release.Although similar in concept and implementation to the original Power Stone, by adding two additional players and replacing one of the attack buttons with a new context sensitive action button, the gameplay is radically altered.Power Stone 2 is a much more frenzied experience than its prequel. Where the first was a variant of the traditional versus fighting game, this game has much more in common with the likes of Bomberman. It even has elements of scrolling fighting games as the arenas are now made up of multiple areas and the players travel from a beginning to an end destination. The arcade release promoted link up features with the Dreamcast only in Japan.Versus play takes place on two linked machines although simultanious play could be implemented on one machin with Capcoms IO converter.
