A dedicated tabletop version was made late in 1988. ISuper Mario Bros. 3I was previewed in the U.S. market via the PlayChoice machine.
Generic Nintendo logo stickers appear on both sides of the cabinet. There are three types of cabinets a counter top, a single monitor type and a dual monitor version. The dual monitor cabinet is a dedicated machine and the single monitor style was a kit converting IPopeyeI, IDonkey KongI, IPacManI, et. al. The main PCBs are different between the single and dual versions.
A Nintendo IPunchOutI cabinet can be converted to a IPlayChoice 10I dual monitor version but a twoplayer wiring harness must be acquired.
