Trivia

This game was originally a Japanese Famicom title called INinja RyukendenI, which loosely translates to Ninja Dragon Sword Legend. For some reason Tecmo decided to change this games name when they ported it to the NES in America, even though the arcade game they named it after was not all that popular. This game and its Japanese counterpart proved very popular, spawning two sequels.
