Game Introduction

This game is like the original Lethal Enforcers except that it takes places in The Old West. The game has five stages: The Bank Robbery, The Stage Hold-Up, The Saloon Showdown, The Train Robbery, and The Hide-Out. At the beginning of the game you have three to five life units. Additional life units are awarded at certain scores throughout the game, but they can also be purchased with additional credits.

The rank you begin with on the game is Sheriff, but if you kill any innocents or fellow lawmen, you will either remain at that rank or be demoted to Deputy or even Posse. If you manage to complete each stage without killing any innocents, you will be promoted to Deputy Marshal, and if you continue on, you will even be promoted to U.S. Marshal.

Your gun can fire up to six bullets at a time. To reload you gun, you must aim it away from the screen and squeeze the trigger. On each stage, there are special items that you can shoot for better weaponry, such as double rigs, rifles, 50 caliber sharps, shotguns, gatling guns and cannons. The gatling guns and cannons can only be used once but the double rigs, rifles, 50 caliber sharps and shotguns can be reloaded the same way as you regular gun. If you get shot, however, you will return to your regular gun. You must destroy the enemies at the end of each stage in order to continue.
