Game Play

When you begin the game, you must go through the tour by selecting one of four stages:

  • The Food Store: You must shoot the food and drinks Gallagher hates like oranges, diet colas, eggs, wedding cakes and school cafeteria lunches. Also, you must shoot the cans of spinach, but not the cans of cherry pie filling.
  • Gadget Land: You must shoot gadgets that "need fixin'" like gumball machines, airplanes, and TV sets. You must also shoot the burned toast from the toaster, but not any of the good toast.
  • The Playroom: You must shoot the things Gallagher hates to do like hanging up the laundry, feeding the fish and getting up at the sound of an alarm clock. Also, you must kill the rats, but not the cats.
  • The Sheriff's Office: You can shoot anything, except people, including the headlights, tires and windshield of a car, Christmas lights, street lights and beer bottles. Also, you can shoot all the signs except the stop sign.

On each level you must shoot all required targets in order to complete the stage. After all four stages have been completed, you have completed the tour and you will go on to the main gallery where you get to shoot basketballs, rubber duckies, pins juggled by clowns, remember and redo lighting sequences, play reverse pool and so on. Afterwards, you get to challenge Gallagher to "The Death By Melon". Here you will try to stop him from smashing one of two watermelons, on each side of the screen, by shooting his Sledge-O-Matic hammer several times before he reaches one of them. If you get past this challenge, the game ends.

Trivia

Gallagher is an American standup comedian who is known best for his outlandish physicalstyle comedy. His trademark is smashing watermelons with a SledgeOMatic an oversized mallet, spraying the contents into the nearby audience. During any number of his performances, he has mentioned that being in his own video game was one of his ambitions.
