Game Play

The game allows you to save your progress on the machine via a ten key. You are able to upgrade your vehicle every time you start a new race and there are plenty of vehicles to choose from and there are new vehicles that become unlocked when your lifetime winnings reach a certain point.

Look for shortcuts and other secrets on each track. Also you get points for aerial tricks, damage and air time.

The Fast and the Furious is based on the film of the same name, but it is also a loose follow-up to the Cruis'n games. Raw Thrills is Eugene Jarvis' company and he put many familiar elements from the Cruis'n games into FF.

The hardware for this game is actually a PC. The CPU is an AMD Athlon XP 2500 paired with 512MB of DDR SDRAM. The motherboard type and video card type are not known at this time. A generic DVD ROM drive is used for game re-installation, and the OS is Windows, likely Win2K, or a heavily stripped down WinXP, based on the bare minimum UI and relative stability of the systems to stay on for long periods w/o crashing. Game linking is standard TCP/IP via 10/100 Ethernet.
