Trivia

Cave held a contest to celebrate the Sega Saturn release of the game; every player was asked to submit their highest scores within a three day period. The winners received a remixed PCB of the game titled "Dodonpachi Campaign Edition". Campaign Edition features more enemies, more bullets on screen and primitive incarnation of the hyper mechanic from DaiOuJou. The only confirmed owner of this board is ZBL-NAI, a world record holder. However, it is rumored anywhere from 5 to 100 boards exist.
