Description

Capcom's contribution to the rapid conversion, cartridge-based-system market. The games use an A/B board architecture where A is the motherboard and B is the rom board containing the program code. There are Five types of boards: Green (Japan), Blue (US and EURO), Orange (Spain and South America), Gray (Asia) and each country has a Yellow (Rent version).

CP System II was produced by Capcom in 1993.

Technical

The stereo Q-Sound audio is output by two RCA jacks mounted on the motherboard. The B boards are subject to "battery death" meaning once the battery has died in a game, it's gone for good. Blue and Green B boards are interchangable with each others A board, while Gray and Orange are interchangeable , and Yellow fits any A board.
