Trivia

About the first 1000 boards were silkscreened with the game's working title Beer Frame Bowling. The game was never released under that title, though, due to the distribution deal made with Capcom.

Cabinet Information

While the vast majority of Capcom Bowling cabinets are conversions, a dedicated cabinet was produced in very small quantities. The cabinet was made from birch plywood and featured larger, painted on side art. The dedicated control panel contained a larger marbled trackball and a different overlay. All the dedicated cabinets were shipped with a ticket dispenser door althtough the dispenser itself was optional.

Conversion

A conversion to Bowl-O-Rama, by Exit Entertainment requires two EPROM changes (game and sound) and the installation of a small "turbo board". This modification allows up to five players and features a choice of Flash-O-Matic and Black Jack in addition to regulation bowling. The upgrade also features many new animations.
