Ben Hur

Players use reins for the controls in this game. They must be repeatedly shaken in order to increase speed. The right rein has to be pulled to turn left and the left rein has to be pulled to turn right. The reins are also used to select a character, the stage and level of difficulty at the beginning of the game.

The game has six different characters to choose from:

• Cronos
• Themis
• Nereids
• Arepes
• Uranos
• Cuttos

There are three different stages to select:

• Circo Massimo
• Streets Of Rome
• Outskirts Of Rome

The three levels of difficulty are:

• Easy
• Normal
• Hard

After the player has selected a character, a stage and a level of difficulty, the race begins. In each chariot race, the player must try to race ahead and/or destroy other chariots to gain extra time. The player must also try to reach each checkpoint to gain additional time. The player must cross the finish line in a certain amount of time in order to qualify.

The game is also known as Ben Hur 2000.
