This is a maze-type game where you drop bombs that later explode and destroy anything within its local vicinity including monsters and other players. There are many power-ups (extra speed, timed bombs, multiple bombs) and cutsey graphics that make this game a classic for all ages.
There are two modes of play: co-operative and competitive. Co-operative is played out over different environments in the world (desert, ice, water, etc) where you must defeat killer chickens, tribesmen, ice monsters, bowling balls and other enemies. The storyline surrounds defeating the Evil Bomber Man. The competitive mode places all the players in an arena, possibly with other computer players, in an all-out-bomb-to-the-death match.
Players drop timed bombs around the maze and try to destroy monsters and other players. Bombs explode in a vertical and horizontal flare, destroying everything in its local vicinity. Once all the monsters are destroyed, you move on to the next scene or part of the world.
