You start out flying vertically and must avoid or shoot and bomb enemies. You will come to a giant face and will enter its mouth unless you stay to the extreme right or left edges of the screen. Once you have entered the mouth the game switches to a horizontally scrolling level where you must shoot on-coming enemies. During these levels you can both shoot and jump as you make your way towards the exit.
