The scale I have is of the coin operated amusement type which was commonly seen on carnival midways, boardwalks, and occasionally could be found in waiting areas of family diners during the 1940-50 eras. It has a full glass front with a large round glass window housing the scale needle (dial type). In the lower left hand corner there is a conversion chart for approx. weight relative to gender and height. The weighing platform which you stand on is stamped with the C.R. Kirk Co. logo.
