The Butter Kist machine by Holcomb & Hoke is a popcorn machine that produces fresh popcorn. It is a little larger then the old Iron Claw machines and stands about six feet tall. It has a very intricate mechaneism to pop the corn and then butter it all mechanically in the view of the customers. It truley can be compaired to a Rube Goldberg design. Some of these popcorn machines have an optional peanut roaster in the bottom.
