Here is a O. D. Jennings Puritan Girl slot machine dating to 1928. It has three reels with the winning combinations shown below, and in the fine print it says nickel or quarter play. If you look at the top the place where you put the coins looks like it could be interchanged for a quarter slot. There is a tag on the inside that says "O.D. Jennings & Company 4309-39 W Lake St. Chicago Manufacturers PURITAN GIRL NO. 1203 Note: When ordering repair parts or about adjustments this construction kindly furnish factory number of construction. The factory number appears at the top of this ticket. If you have any concerns or complaints be sure to mention the factory number and name of inspector shown on this ticket." The inspectors name looks like SHL or maybe SAL. Theese were made in 1928 as a trade stimulator and put in local stores. There are two circles in the cast metal front that say "Patent No 1562771" and "other patents pending." On each side is a girl with blonde hair and a blue cape holding a bird and where the coins come out it says "spurious coin here." On the back it says "open small door first." It's size measures 12" high and 10" deep and 8 1/2" wide including the arm.
