MARQUEE PICTURE NEEDED FOR Pilot, The - Click for details on how to contribute.

Description

Steer your way to the jackpot. Drop 5 in any or all coin slots, press the handle, and watch the reel spin. If you win, a flag or the jackpot symbol of a pilot pops up in its window on the marquee, a bell rings, and a trade token worth 10 to 1 drops from the side. Early cast-iron trade stimulators were often richly detailed. Here, the elaborate scene on the side depicts two oarsmen on a raging sea. Mills Novelty's design and craftsmanship make this an object of art.

This machine is nearly identical to the Mills Novelty Co. Eagle. It's differences include different available reels and six can play at a time whereas only five can play at a time on the Eagle. This one also plays nickels only, and the Eagle plays quarters.

Pilot, The was produced by Mills Novelty Co. in 1900.

Mills Novelty Co. released 670 machines in our database under this trade name, starting in 1896. Mills Novelty Co. was based in United States.
