Description

In 1905, big game hunting was a fashionable attraction for the player. And if one company felt another had a winner, it readily copied. Mills Novelty's Elk closely resembles that of Paupa & Hochreim - in motif, its offer of free cigars or drinks, and the fortune-telling reel. However, the well-known owl trademark and the elaborately detailed sides help distinguish theirs from the competition.

Elk was produced by Mills Novelty Co. in 1905.

Mills Novelty Co. released 670 machines in our database under this trade name, starting in 1896. Mills Novelty Co. was based in United States.

Other machines made by Mills Novelty Co. during the time period Elk was produced include: Two Bits Chicago Musical Upright, Stereoscope Drop Card Viewer, Owl Lifter, Wizard Fortune Teller Wood, Weighing Machine, Unit Picture Machine, Automatic Phonograph, Auto Stereoscope, Balloon Lung Tester, and Conjurer Fortune Teller
