Big Six - Lone Star Twin
Description
This magnificent double, lavishly embellished with copper-plated iron castings, houses two of Caille Brothers' most attractive uprights. The Big Six features a colorful etched mirrored glass with Cupid on the moon aiming his arrow at the lovely goddess. The Lone Star is unusual in that the arrow, no the wheel, spins when the handle is pressed. In order to circumvent local gambling laws, the music box (framed in the lower casting) automatically plays a tune each time the machine is operated. 1904.
