Description

The game had the first dot matrix display (DMD) ever used on a pinball game! It used a "half-height" DMD as compared to the standard DMD used by Williams Mfg.

Checkpoint was produced by Data East in 1991.

Data East released 176 machines in our database under this trade name, starting in 1979. Data East was based in Japan.
