During each game, there are seven mice who will try to steal seven out of twelve pieces of cheese displayed on the screen.
Each time a mouse starts to run toward the cheese, the player will attempt to smash that mouse with the mallet by hitting the button with quick but careful and accurate timing before the mouse gets to the cheese.
Sometimes, a mouse will be a little tricky and start to run before the player can have a chance to smash it.
After all seven mice are out of the picture whether they are smashed or have escaped, the remaining pieces of cheese will redempted for tickets and afterwards, a bonus round will follow for a chance for bonus tickets. Afterwards, the game ends.
