Hoofin' Henry (Disneyland Bear Country)

Description

Hoofin' Henry was a coin-operated machine featured in the Main Street Penny Arcade at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Put a coin in and then press buttons to see the bear dance. This particular machine may have also spent a little time in the pre-show area of the Bear Country Jamboree. The arcade closed and the Jamboree reportedly held its last show on September 9, 2001. Hoofin' Henry was eventually repurposed for a new life as Pinocchio for the Main Street Arcade. Prior to this happening, the Museum of the Game had lobbied to save the machine in its original form (as it had with other machines from the Bear Country arcade), but was ultimately not successful. Later, as late as 2019, this machine (or one like it) was rethemed into 'Woody's Ho - Down Make Him Dance" to be found in one of the Frontierland gift shops.
