Fortune Red (Disneyland New Orleans Square)
Description
Fortune Red is a custom Imagineer-designed fortune teller that has appeared in various locations in New Orleans Square at the Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California. He was originally located in New Orleans Square and then later moved between the Pirates of the Caribbean themed Shop, Pieces of Eight, and a hidden adjacent nook known as Royal Court at 21 Royal Street. When activated, the song Yo Ho, Yo Ho plays and he deals out a fortune card. The machine has been redressed, reworked and redesigned over the more than fifty years of service it has provided. After a lengthy refurbishment, Fortune Red was returned to the park in October 2012.
