The life sized figure of the lady Enchantress is reading a book titled "The Book of Life." Depending on which side the player chooses, they'll receive cards for either men or women. A special feature of these cards is a picture of the players husband or wife which appears when the player wets their finger, rubs the "magic heart" on the card, and then rubs the empty picture frame at the top of the card. Originally enough cards were included with the machine to pay back its original cost.
