Description

A laser disc Quarter horse racing game. Players bet on a set of names with changing odds. The computer then randomly selects a winner (with the proper bias for the odds) and then runs the race.

Quarter Horse was produced by Electro Sport in 1981.

Game Introduction

This game was the first horse racing game to use QuarterHorses in a video format. Competed at the time with character generated games, and predated Dragon's Lair and other 'first' videodisc games.

Cabinet Information

The cabinet houses two monitors. The top one shows the race and the bottom one is where you place bets and see the results. The game is also available in a twoplayer upright pianostyle version and a single monitor version.
