Description

Destroy all the enemies that pop out of the ground. If they get to the bottom you will need to jump to prevent them from damaging you.

Game Introduction

A slightly-rickety robot is being sent into an underground cavern to take out a variety of nasty little alien critters. The game progresses through three stages and then starts again.

Game Play

For the most part, you simply shoot at the enemies. The enemies are crafty and will frequently take cover in holes that are nearby. They also know when they are being shot at, so they will stay hidden until you stop or move.

Nearby, a volcano is erupting chunks of hot rock that can bounce around a bit before disappearing. If you are hit by one, you will be unable to fire and the mechanic will have to come in and jack you back up you can press the buttons repeatedly to speed this up. The critters will also throw bombs at you. If one gets on you, you have to wait for the mechanic to get it off before you can move again.

The first two stages end either when you clear out the area or when a critter happens to break you apart. In the third and final stage, spiders can drop down from the ceiling and grab you, creating more delay. After the last critter has been cleared, you face their leader, a huge, ugly critter with lots of teeth. To defeat him, you must shoot out all his teeth.

You lose a robot if a critter breaks it apart or the big critter chews it up.
