Description

This is a two-player game where you play one of four Chinese heroes on horseback and try to kill all of your enemies. You can swing your weapon forward or backward or use magic to defeat your enemy.

Dynasty Wars was produced by Capcom in 1989.

Capcom released 230 machines in our database under this trade name, starting in 1984. Capcom was based in Japan.

Game Introduction

This is the third game Capcom produced using the CPS-1 system. The background and all characters were based on an actual history: the Period of Three Kingdoms after the "Hen" Dynasty in China. Character designs were based on a popular Japanese comic call "Destruction of Heaven and Earth".

Game Play

The game always scrolls to the right. The first button will make you face left and swing your weapon, the second button will make you face right and swing your weapon, while the third button will let you use magic. You can also add coins any time to increase your vitality.
